Andy Burton - MD
Andy was born in Devon and trained in arboriculture at Merrist Wood
College in Surrey. He set up Devon Tree Services after leaving college
in 1978, and has been the driving force ever since, developing it into a successful local business. He recognised that there was a need for a more professional approach to tree work, placing emphasis on employee training and customer care. The company quickly gained a reputation
for reliability and high quality, factors which Andy considers as
important today as he did when he started out over 25 years ago.
Under Andy’s leadership, Devon Tree Services Ltd continues to be one
of the most
reputable and professional tree care companies in the south-west.
Jamie Beaulah - Operations Manager 
Jamie joined the DTS team in 2004 as our Operations Manager. His
main responsibilities include the day-today management of the work teams and equipment, and all Health and Safety issues. He has 18
years industry experience, starting his career in the Forestry sector. Jamie joined the Fire Services National Benevolent Fund in the late
1990s as
a charge hand, before becoming Estate Manager at Harcombe House in Chudleigh, Devon. After serving as a Fire Fighter for a short time, he was appointed Health and Safety Officer, responsible for Health and Safety within three English counties for the FSNBF. After starting a
family, Jamie decided to return to the Arboricultural Industry, to enable
him to work closer to home. Jamie is happy to advise both large
organisations and private clients on all Health and Safety issues.
